After doing more research, I found out the University of Kentucky Perishing Rifle put on several events around campus.  As most of you probably saw on September 11, the Perishing Rifles put on a vigil for all the men and women that lost their lives that day.  They place flags all over campus and marched around the flag all day.  The perishing Rifles also carry the colors for University of Kentucky events.  I think this is a good organization to research because these people will one day be fighting for our country and I have always looked up to those people.  Although there isn't a lot of information on the University of Kentucky company,  they are known as Company-C1.  They were created on December 7, 1931.  Also Company C1 has a winning tradition.  They have won over one hundred trophies and awards.
